I’ve moved my email list over to this newsletter from ActiveCampaign because it’s so much more efficient for the way I run the business now. You may know me from signing up to learn something about starting or owning a boutique, but that’s not all I write about here.
One of the things I have been working on is how to help boutique owners (or those who want to start) with some of their biggest challenges. One thing I’ve heard LOUD and CLEAR is that everyone hates doing social media.
Whether it’s coming up with what to say, creating the content or actually setting up the posts to go, it is a complete nightmare for 90% of us.
Even if you love one part of it, it is pretty much guaranteed you don’t love all of it. Then comes the part where you post really well for a week or two, get busy and everything falls off. You don’t post for a month. I know because I have done it myself over the last 13 years.
And the worst part isn't even the inconsistency. It's the guilt that comes after...
So about a year ago I started doing something different for a small group of boutique owners. I put together a weekly plan that had what to sell, what to post, what to say… and just handed it to them.
